Peer Review Process

This journal operates a double-blind peer review policy involving two or more external reviewers.  Authors can suggest peer reviewers in the cover letter through providing the reviewers names, email addresses, ORCID or Scopus ID. Authors may request the exclusion of individuals as peer reviewers, but they should explain the reasons in their cover letter on submission. Authors should not exclude too many individuals as this may delays the peer review process.   Authors can suggest peer reviewers in the cover letter through providing the reviewers names, email addresses, ORCID or Scopus ID. Intentionally falsifying information, for example, suggesting reviewers with a false name or email address, will result in rejection of the manuscript and may lead to further investigation in line with our misconduct policy.

Every submitted article will be independently reviewed by three reviewers. The review process applies Double Blind method. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on reviewers’ recommendation:

> Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.

> Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.

> Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.

> Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in the journal.
